My mother's journey to the Light.....

Namaste friends... as many of you are aware,  my mother,  Mary Christian Heising,  returned to the Light on Friday, January 9 at just before 10 AM when she took her last breath in this realm.  Her journey became part of my own journey as I spent much time with her,  especially since she went into hospice in mid-June after a near fatal bought with viral pneumonia the end of May on memorial day weekend.   As I was with her,  I watched her continue to fight on for each day,  even against extreme physical and I assume emotional pain.  But during the holiday season,  after Christmas and New Year's,  her soul seemed to settle into the realization that her body was indeed passing and in the final dissolution process.  It was especially auspicious to me that on Monday, January 5, the birthday (jayanti) of my guru, Paramahansa Yoganandaji,  that from 3-4 PM,  I felt she had completely accepted this and was beaming rays of peace and love through her beautiful blue eyes as I held her hand.  That was indeed a special gift from her to me and also certainly from God and guru.

  Carolyn Heising Namaste Amrita Akhand ... Dr. Ram Sharma and I chanted OM shanti shanti shanti for my mother, he through skype on my cell, at her last moments of breath... I lay my hands on her head, and also on her eyes... as Dr Ram guided me to do... and then I also played Deva Premal chanting om shanti shanti shanti on my cell from youtube... this was very soothing... soon thereafter, mother took her last breath..}
